By making a purchase or payment on our Website, you agree to the terms of this policy.

 

  1. General Policy

Unless explicitly stated otherwise for a specific service or product, all sales and payments made through Startup Sri are generally non-refundable. We encourage users to carefully review their selections before completing any transaction.

 

  1. Specific Service/Product Refund Terms
  • Lanka Book of Records Certificates (Digital & Physical):
    • No Refunds: Once an official Lanka Book of Records certificate (digital or physical) has been issued and/or dispatched, payments for these certificates are non-refundable. This includes fees for verification, processing, and delivery.
    • Prior to Issuance (Exceptional Cases): In rare cases where a record application is rejected after payment for a certificate has been made (and no certificate has been issued), a partial refund may be considered, subject to administrative fees to cover processing costs. This will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
    • Errors on Certificates: If there is a verifiable error on a certificate caused by Startup Sri (e.g., a typo in the name or record details that differs from the verified application), we will re-issue the corrected certificate at no additional cost. Users must report such errors within 7 days of receiving the certificate.
  • Event Registrations (Startup Sri):
    • Non-Refundable: Payments for event registrations (e.g., workshops, bootcamps, conferences) are generally non-refundable once purchased.
    • Event Cancellation by Startup Sri: If an event is cancelled by Startup Sri, registered participants will be offered a full refund or a credit for a future event, at their discretion.
    • Participant Cancellation: Refunds for participant cancellations are typically not provided. However, we may allow transferring your registration to another person if notified at least 72 hours before the event, subject to administrative approval.
  • Premium Memberships / Subscriptions (Future Services):
    • Any future premium memberships or subscriptions will have their specific refund terms clearly outlined at the time of purchase or subscription. These will generally be non-refundable once activated.
  • Donations:
    • All donations made to Startup Sri or Lanka Book of Records initiatives are non-refundable.

 

  1. Damaged or Lost Physical Products (e.g., Physical Certificates, Awards)

If you receive a physical certificate or award that is damaged in transit, or if it is lost during delivery, please contact us immediately within 48 hours of expected delivery. We will investigate the issue and arrange for a replacement or resolution at our discretion, typically requiring photographic evidence of damage.

For any concerns regarding a payment, service delivery, or a potential refund request (where applicable under this policy), please contact us with full details of your transaction and concern.
